Took someone here for there birthday and it was perfect. Great place and definitely worth a look if your nearby. Can get busy so that tells you how good the food is.

One of the few places you can go and eat - and everything is good. My favourite is Tapsilog but genuinely, everything is fantastic - adobo, lechon, Tocsilog, noodles and green chili lumpia - Mel is a great cook and Carl a fine host delivering excellent mugs of tea at regular intervals. Highly recommended.

Tucked away in Ashton Under Lyne Indoor Market there is a great FILIPINO FUSION Restraunt. Run by a Mum and Son team dishing up some authentic filipino dishes. We ordered Beef Tapsilog 12 for the dish and a coke to share total was 25 The beef was excellent cooked to perfection included the staple rice , salad and fried egg, TARPS is open 6 days a week 11am to 4.30 pm Monday to Saturday. Would highly recommend plus you have a indoor market to wonder around after. Mike & Bing Cheshire

WOW!!! We absolutely loved Tarps, it was our 1st time trying authentic Filipino food and we were blown away with Tarps. We tried 5 dishes and all were amazing, but the best was the Lechon Kawali, we will be dreaming about that crispy pork belly was the stuff dreams are made off

Cosy small kitchen in the middle of Ashton's market with hand made dishes and prepared just straight after you order. The food was well cooked, fresh and very flavoured, but the best part is the amount, if you are starving, this is the place for a reasonable price.

Wanted to visit IKEA on the weekend, so I looked for any delicious food nearby, and I found this lovely Filipino restaurant. In fact, I was originally attracted by the pork belly, but I also liked the taste of the beef very much, especially the attached fried eggs. It's just right and you can feel the chef's care. It's a restaurant that makes people want to try other dishes again

Just amazing, we happily bumped into this fabulous place when exploring Ashton market. We had a feeling someone had mentioned it in a positive way, the smells coming from the open kitchen were delicious and we were lucky enough to be passing when a table freed up. So the planets seemed to have aligned, and we were in for a treat. The authentic and most delicious Adobo chicken and the Tapsilog Beef were sublime. The service was nothing short of welcoming and can only be compared to being welcomed into someones home. Salamat, we will definitely be visiting again.
